"Botosta....when are you planning to take your fuckation?"
reading this from my best friend's blog back in 2008 made me laugh so hard i almost peed my pants. he's been in his new job in Saudi Arabia for less than 3 months then, and he and his boss were plotting their vacation projection schedule for that year which prompted the "fuckation" (vacation) question. it wasn't meant to be funny of course but i couldn't help it. so each time he comes home, we will always refer to it as his "fuckation".
for his 2011 fuckation, he decided to schedule it during the summer. mainly because, or so i'd like to think, of my birthday (hehe). weeks before his flight, we spent planning how he/we would spend his/our time here since he would be staying for more than a month (6 weeks). it went as far as going to Indochina or Singapore or Hongkong. but of course, knowing him too well, any plan remains to be seen.
so, when i wasn't able to make it to this dinner thing on the night of his arrival mainly due to bad timing estimates, it wasn't at all surprising hahahaha!
anyway, saturday afternoon, i arrived at his house in cavite. we sort of wanted to spend some quality time together (naks!) so i opted to stay there overnight.

our first meal for his "fuckation" was at savory which is located at the newly built SM Rosario (aptly nicknamed MOE as in Mall of Epza). just a few minutes from their house. first meal pero sa totoo lang parang last meal ang feeling hahaha! sobrang daming food! we ordered for like 4 people. pero nawala sa isip namin na mag-picture ng food so mga mukha na lang namin ang upload ko.

for sunday, my best friend and his sisters cooked lunch. i really missed his cooking. he used to teach me how to cook way back when he lived a block from my house. wow, that seemed eons ago.

he offered to accompany me on my commute back home provided i accompany him to Trinoma to pick up his new Panasonic LX5. i was more than happy to take him there and to witness the realization of his life-long dream of buying the one gadget that haunted him on a daily basis. i cannot remember a moment in gtalk when we are free from discussing his obsession with that thing. anyway, i will not bore you people with the details of the transaction (it was a long wait), but i am happy to say that he FINALLY has it and i must admit, it was a good buy. the pics taken from that cam were just awesome.

n route to my house, we stopped by megamall so he can purchase some wardrobe essentials. then i got a pedicure/footspa at Nail-A-Holics while he attempted to take pictures of cosplaying kiddos who seem to be everywhere that day (may anime convention ata or whatever). pero parang tinamad siya at ito lang ang pic na pumasa...

then, we lounged at the shangrila mall, decided to watch a movie (source code. it was OK. half the time he was asleep) and had dinner at clawdaddy.

i think i got home pretty late but i really had a great time. i'm really looking forward to more weekends with my best friend.
