so after working yesterday (yes, it was a holiday...no...it's not a paid OT), i decided to take a break from all my tasks this morning and tried to relax a bit. but of course, knowing myself too well, i began to get bored after a mere 10 minutes of quiet time. curse that darn network administrator for blocking the important social networking sites. there's no IM, no web mail. then both my "cube-mates" decided to have a meeting at the exact same time so i'm just basically left here in my station, alone with my thoughts. what a drag. sitting around and "trying to look busy" is hard work people. i pretended to review an old document or flipped through a series of screenshots. my eyes got tired of staring at the computer screen so i thought, hey maybe this could be a good time to write something. i took out my notebook...and for some bizarre reason, started listing all the major events that happened this year. well not the major major nationwide news...
