In Between

aside from my project's impending doom, nothing much can be said about holy week.  my best friend was actually out of town with his high school barkada (inggit ako!) while i was stuck here working 12 hours a day.  not only that, i even had to work during the holidays (Holy Thur).  my decision to resign was perfectly timed.  i am beginning to get really stressed out and i needed a real break. ito na yun, in summary: good friday was spring cleaning day!  can u sense my excitement?  hahaha. to up my mood a bit, i shopped a little on Saturday morning.  i brought my hunger games book and spent several hours at a coffee kiosk in rob forum (pioneer) reading and sipping coffee.  +   = HAPPINESS ang baduy!!!  pero totoo.  hahaha! my family attended the usual easter vigil mass at stella orientis in ortigas.  for some reason, i decided to wear my corset-type lingerie.  i got exhausted, really.  i dont know how women from the 16th century did it,  i cant' even imagine how

(part 1 is here ) anyway...where was i? basta BIRTHDAY ko!  wooo!  hahahaha!  parang baliw lang. the next day, i spent celebrating with my family.  nag-photo op kami first thing in the morning (with liam and yaya!).  kailangan raw kasi may picture na nagb-blow ng candle sa cake. baby liam in the house yo! photo op with parents kahit kagigising lang! with yaya! happy birthday! sino may hawak ng balloons sa background? syempre si mommy!  hahahaha! i planned a post-birthday lunch at Yakimix Podium, kaso sobrang OA at puno na raw.  boooo.  we ended up at Yaku.  japanese rin naman so OK na rin.  sobrang daming food kasi we ordered like, 2 (or 3?) of each hahaha!  saraaaaaap! YAKU podium interior the menu.  prices aren't so bad. super like ang complimentary dilis appetizer in macro mom and sis ready to order kani salad.  awesome starter hehe. maki in macro

2 MAJOR things happened this week. FIRST and most importantly:  IT'S MY BIRTHDAY WEEK !  wooooot!  i've  setup a few activities (na hindi natuloy, like "My Sassy Girl" day) which were really awesome and i will talk about that later. second major thing:  i quit my job.  kaboom. it wasn't a total suprise to the people who are very close to me.  they know the gist, i wasn't happy.  that's basically it.  i can ramble on and on about my experience, but the reality is that i am just sick and tired of what i was doing.  heck, i was sick and tired of myself.  it just wasn't the right fit.  anyway, thats that.  let's talk about cheerier things...like my BIRTHDAY! so, even though i had major shit lined up that week at work (it was really getting more and more frustrating everyday), i pushed through with my birthday leave.  it was a friday so it was also a long weekend for me.  but first, thursday night, i met with my old team.  i missed them
