week 15: we're gonna party like it's... (page 2 of 2, haha)

ang dami kasi nangyari so kailangan talaga may part 2 hahahaha! (part 1 is here)

anyway...where was i?

basta BIRTHDAY ko!  wooo!  hahahaha!  parang baliw lang.

the next day, i spent celebrating with my family.  nag-photo op kami first thing in the morning (with liam and yaya!).  kailangan raw kasi may picture na nagb-blow ng candle sa cake.

baby liam in the house yo!

photo op with parents kahit kagigising lang!

with yaya!

happy birthday!

sino may hawak ng balloons sa background?

syempre si mommy!  hahahaha!

i planned a post-birthday lunch at Yakimix Podium, kaso sobrang OA at puno na raw.  boooo.  we ended up at Yaku.  japanese rin naman so OK na rin.  sobrang daming food kasi we ordered like, 2 (or 3?) of each hahaha!  saraaaaaap!

after lunch, my sister and i shopped for clothes (i totally need new clothes).  swipe swipe!  shet!

next stop for my birthday celebration is a trip to a museum of sorts.  sorry, i know it's boring and nerdy and all that, but i wanted to see this so as a birthday treat, my friend took me to Myth of the Human Body Exhibit at the Fort (or basta malapit sa fort haha).

malapitan

di ako ang kumuha nito ha.  found it here

basically, it's an exhibit featuring REAL cadavers (i heard mga unclaimed bodies of convicted felons) that underwent Polymer Preservation Technique.  kinda creepy.  but i like creepy stuff.  the picture above is a real corpse, and that's his own skin draped around his shoulders.

eerie.  hahahaha!

but it was fun!  i learned a lot  (shet parang science project lang!) like what healthy lungs look like and what happens if a person has cancer.  but it's more or less just a museum.  it was kinda huge actually.  bawal nga lang mag-photo op with the cadavers.  the most interesting display was "The Red Man".  shet ang geeky pero na-amaze ako.  it's a life-size display of all the blood vessels in our body.  ang galing!  i heard extracting that was such a bitch.  sayang wala ako makita pic sa internet.

kung sino man ang may pakulo nung exhibit eh feeling ko napaka-morbid na tao hahaha!  i mean, there were baby corpses at pati mga fetus (yun talaga ang creepy).  kakaloka talaga.  but from a scientific point of view, it was no mean feat.  maganda at magaling ang pagkakagawa.  biruin mo, dati sa libro mo lang makikita from school, pero ngayon, ayan na very real and very in your face hahaha.

dito lang pwde magpa-picture

hahahahahaha!

buhok's normal face

hoy!  san ka pupunta?!

the museum did not bother our appetites that much, we ended up pigging out at chilis.

so-so

types ko toh!

it was the perfect end to an awesome birthday weekend.

tapos...

holy week na!
