i met with old colleagues monday night because dadi glenn is here for a week!  yehey!  he treated us to a very delicous north park dinner and starbucks coffee. (pictures grabbed from enteng's facebook page)

we missed you dadi glenn!  sa uulitin!  hehehehe.

ok so thursday was supposed to be a normal day at work.  but it got complicated because of 2 things i left at home:  my I.D. and my cell phone.  now, usually, not so much drama would ensue.  but fate sometimes likes to shit on you just to spice things up a bit.

since i left my I.D. badge in my room, i had to a leave a gov't issued i.d.  (my TIN card) to the building receptionist and get a temp i.d. from them.  i would surrender then this temp building i.d. to a security guard from my company and he would then give me a temp company i.d.

it's ridiculous, but that's how it is.

this wasn't the first time i left my i.d. card at home so i am familiar with the process.  hence, in my opinion, we're all good.

fast forward to breakfast, i realized that i left my phone in my room as well.  fuck.  but that's ok.  i didn't have anything planned that night.  shouldn't be much of a problem.

a few minutes later, i got an outside call from my work phone.  it was my best friend.  after blatantly pointing out my stupidity (re:  cell phone), he asked me if we could hang out that night.  since i was having too much fun at work, i obliged.

fast forward to after office hours.  my best friend and i agreed to meet at the skating rink in SM Mall of Asia at a specific time (old school).  i surrendered the company temp i.d. to the security guard, then proceeded to the building receptionist to get my TIN card.

now this was more or less 8PM in the evening.  the receptionist left hours ago and a lady guard took her place.  she took the building i.d. from me, rummaged around her box of i.d.'s, gave me my i.d. and with a stern look on her face said,  "sa susunod ma'am ang ibibigay na i.d. dapat may picture."  i stared at her for 2 seconds and looked at the card she gave me.  it wasn't mine.  so i said, "um this is not mine.  look (i took out my social security card), see the name?  not me.  where's my i.d.?".  she looked at it and rummaged around her box again, finally locating my TIN card,  i began to take it from her (i was in a hurry), but she took a step back and said she couldn't hand it to me because the building i.d. i gave her didn't match the number they put on my TIN card.  i told her that wasn't my problem.  there's no doubt that the TIN card was mine so they can't really confiscate it or whatever.  long story short, she wouldn't budge.  fucking bitch.  i wanted to slap her.  instead, she wants me to testify against the incompetent receptionist friday afternoon.  she wants to report the stupid fucking receptionist and she wants me to be part of this stupid game.  i wasn't happy of course.  but i was also in a hurry.  i argued and raised my voice but nothing happened.  so i agreed to meet with her and do her dance the next day.

to calm myself, my best friend, another friend and i watched Thor in 3D.  it was pretty good.  i mean, it wasn't mind blowing or whatever.  but it was certainly entertaining.  afterwards, i was happy.  hehehehe.  and (after cursing the lady guard), charged the unfortunate incident to experience.

friday afternoon, i just went over to the building office, said my piece, they gave me back my TIN i.d. and i left.  honestly, it did get me curious on how they would handle the situation.  i was half wishing for a catfight between napaka-epal lady guard and clueless receptionist.  unfortunately, i will never know.

the weekend was less dramatic.  my best friend and i met again saturday night and had a couple of drinks at watering hole.  actually dapat sa greenbelt kami tatambay pero na-realize namin na hindi namin yun ka-level.  haahahaha!  i agreed to help him on this paper he's trying to finish for "work" so after drinks and coffee, we set out to work at my house.

we took a break around 5 in the morning.  or at least, i slept at 5 in the morning.  i dont know about him though.  but i dragged him out for church and snacks around noon.  we had lunch at home then continued to do the paper.

dinner was at chef's quarters.  i've always wanted to eat there.  masarap naman.  malaki yung serving  and we wanted to try the eggplant parmigiana, but it was not available that night.  boo.

buti na lang masaya yung bonding hehehe.
