2 long weekends later...

well my mid-year resolution to blog everyday is not working for me. sometimes i'm in the mood to write. most of the time, i just want to sulk.

i haven't been getting much sleep lately. i think there's something wrong with my ears. i have to get it checked soon. plus i'm also having trouble focusing because i've been feeling nauseous most of the day. i think it's vertigo. i visited the doctor and he gave me some meds to take for 5 days. i guess it helped a bit. but i'm far from feeling my normal healthy self. must visit the doctor again soon.

my room is 90% finished. this morning, my new full length mirror is being installed. the parquet floor was retouched yesterday. the only shit left is the installation of my wall lamps which will be done by Sunday. i really cannot wait to get back to my room. i think another reason why i'm feeling anxious all the time is because i've been sleeping in a foreign place for the past 2 weeks. that...and most likely...STRESSSSS.

anyway, i had a really great weekend last time compared to the previous long weekend which the only activity i was able to do was sleep. i attended this birthday bash thing at sidebar ortigas. there were like 4 of us but we had the grandest time. special thanks to the 4 pitchers of mai tai and abby's on-the-spot french lessons. hella fun.

i was able to see Up in 3D as well and had my first ever shabu-shabu experience. i enjoyed both! the shabu-shabu thing of course made me feel stupid because i didn't know how to work the darn thing. no thanks to the very unhappy waiter and waitress assigned to our table. they weren't rude or anything. they just exude a very unenthusiastic aura that was surely a turn off. but i was able to cook my food well (with the occasional boo boo now and then like mistaking the sauce for soup) and actually liked everything. happiness.

**ok while writing this, my stupid laptop malfunctioned and i wasn't able to scroll down. tsk. how annoying.**

the next day, a friend and i went to sai-zen (85 peso store) and japan home (everything 88) and scored a few finds.

so all in all...not a very bad weekend indeed.

then hell week arrived. Murphy had to visit and things again uncontrollably collapsed in my face.

wonder what's in store for me next?
