Cab Rants Part 1

i am dirt poor so i normally don't ride cabs to work or anywhere unless i really really need to. lately though, i've been doing this more than usual (partly due to laziness) and i noticed that for some strange reason, i either get a dilapidated old toyota with questionable stains or an asshole of a driver who would rob you with their shitness.

anyway....

from now on, i will blog every single cab ride experience in this little segment i call:

CAB RANTS

so first on my list is:

RANT:
Rude, foul-mouthed driver. No manners at all. i hate it when they ASK you for a tip. he even said that he wasn't supposed to pass by the taxi stand but he decided to because the security guard keeps on signaling for him. this was also the his reason why we SHOULD tip him. so parang utang na loob ko pa ngayon? he even "forgot" to reset his meter. good thing i check every time i step into a cab. really rude, did not even bother to open his trunk for our groceries "kasya naman yan rito sa loob." so of course we were seated uncomfortably because the grocery bags were all over the place. he didn't help us carry them in and out of the car either. just a plain old dick.

so there.

week 3: independence ba kamo?

this is by far the most interesting week, though in a way, the most depressing one as well.  but where to start?  hmm.  well, i finally found the courage to actually walk-in and ask for a part-time job.  and knowing what a geek i am, where do i do that exactly?  at the city library of course.  haha.  how fucking crazy is that?  anyway, i wanted to go to that art film thing and since it's just next to the library, it was a 2 birds and 1 stone scenario. the library people just basically told me to fuck off which wasn't cool haha.  so i went to the cinema hoping it gets better.  when i got there, there was no one around.  i walked around a bit.  went back and the place was still deserted.  then i saw a doorbell thing and it says "academy cinema" or something to that effect.  so i rang it.  some rude guy picked up and basically told me to wait until 6pm and to fuck off.  what the hell is up with the univer...
