week 1 in random.

i've been scribbling little notes every day about how i feel or what i truthfully think about certain things (you know how sometimes you say yes or no but what you really mean is "GO. FUCK. YOURSELF.") because i feel it will help me release a lot of the negative crap lingering inside me. it's actually kind of working. anyway, i hope i can make sense of it all soon.

saw my friend this week too, tuesday night. had this long (but bitin!) chat and it was just super duper nice.

i miss you ubbie!

i was able to try out a new resto this week. Mr Jones at Greenbelt 5. they have this kind of diner-ish atmosphere complete with red booths and all that jazz.

every time i hear the name of this place, i get LSS on some Aqua song

si kuya busy

cutesy salt and pepper shakers

food was pretty tasty. i tried the tapa as recommended by my sister. it wasn't exactly "to die for" as some people claim, but it wasn't so bad (Tsokonut i think tastes better. and who can forget Hidden Tapsi...gosh best friend i miss you!). a little pricey but hey, it's greenbelt 5. my friend had the eggs benny with salmon and bacon.

eggs "benny" 2 ways (395)

U.S. beef ribcap "tapa & garlic overload" (295)

i forgot to take a picture of the menu. and yes, i am aware of the lousy shots.

i finally realized that i am not the kind of person who likes to take A LOT of pictures. actually, this fact is more evident during my HK-MACAU trip last October. nobody saw photos of that trip except when the i got tagged in facebook.

i am just not the picture picture type of person. maybe because my best friend is not around to encourage me or something. he is a certified camwhore.

this week also marked the first time i made baon brewed coffee which i was able to take conveniently to work with the use of my new (dildo-inspired) vacuum flask.

ok in my defense, it was my sister who talked me into buying this particular item.

buti na lang pala hindi color red yung binili ko ano?
*snicker* *snicker*

Amazing Discovery #1:
it turns out i can finish a 5 day task in 3 days. whether or not i am doing it correctly is an entirely different thing though.

our long-anticipated resort getaway got postponed due to the unavailability of the resort owner.

get well soon jhun!

i've accustomed myself to daydream how i would transition into a new career during my early morning commute. like, for example, i would rehearse how my future job interview would be like. but lately though, i have been daydreaming about how i would quit my job. how i would file my resignation and what would people say or feel. is that weird? anyway, here's a picture of one of my dream jobs (sent by ubbie).

hehehehe

(photo is from here)

this week, i also remembered my friend je. i was listening to my mp3 player one time while working and Baby I'm Yours by the Arctic Monkeys started playing. he was the one who sent me that song. i dont remember why, he always sends me songs online depending on what we're talking about (could be another one of my emo conquests). i immediately started tearing up while listening to it. i really miss our chats. RIP my good friend. nasan ka man ngayon, sana may Coke 1.5L dyan.

going to work on a sunday wasn't a total waste. although, i did find out early on that i cannot complete the task because i needed help on some things. but i wouldn't exactly call it a failure. i was able to wash my mug. that's a big plus right? haha.

oh remember the super disastrous haircut i had like 14 months ago? anyway, i grew it again to a desired length and had a digiperm about a month ago (beautybrick salon).

kulot salot

it wasn't this curly the first time, so i had it re-touched. but then, when i got there, they used smaller curls for some reason or another. anyway, it didn't turn out bad but i was hoping the curls weren't this tight.

still crossing my fingers that in 2 months time, the curls would loosen up a bit.

i picked up my NSO certified birth certificate around saturday evening at SM Megamall. yes, you can request for these kinds of documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate) without having to endure watching government employees work in slow motion . 140 pesos per copy. processing is around 3-5 business days.

ok let's sing!

here at SM...
it's all at SM...
here at SM!
we've got it all for you!

feeling ko in time, kahit kaluluwa mabibili na sa SM hahahahaha! (joke!) photo is from here.

anywayyy....thats about it.

i got so much crap lined up for next week. better get myself ready for that.

wow grabeh i am so excited. (sounds sarcastic)

una sa lahat...wala akong alam na Mr. Jones na song. catchy ba yun? is it LSS-worthy? hahahaha! anyway, aware ako na Dr. Jones, pero basta yun ang nag-play sa utak ko nung nabasa ko yung name nung place.
