week 3: busy busy busy
i am actually writing this down. can you believe it? this is outrageous. remember my blocked email? i haven't tried again for fear of getting some kind of warning (i can't afford a red flag just yet) so i wasn't entirely sure if they block only emails with attachments or not. by around thursday though, it was confirmed by a colleague that she can't send out emails to her personal mail either. fucking ridiculous.
i feel violated.
i thought of typing this blog out in notepad, take a screenshot and send it out. i mean, if they actually have a sniffer program or whatever that has text recognition on jpeg files, i will probably shit myself.
but as mentioned, it was hard to tell whether they are just blocking out emails with attachments or they went completely anal about it. so i had to let it go and write this the traditional way.

so there you go.
monday night, i received a call from my sister, telling me that she scored tickets to the advance screening of love & other drugs at greenbelt 3.

ang panget ng kuha, i know |
since i wasn't exactly having a blast that day and my office is in Makati, i was more than happy to tag along. aside from the free dinner and a chance to "mag-feeling" media, the movie was not as bad as i thought it would be.
yeah free food!!! lavet! |
nag-start sya ng 8PM. nagmadali pa man din ako! |
i had lunch at the park tuesday (and friday, but more on that later) afternoon. it was a pretty late lunch. i will dub it as my emo moment of the week. it was quite nice actually. i had a stressful morning so i was glad that i found a quiet place to gather my thoughts. i really liked it. but of course, i was stupid for not bringing my camera. and also forgot to bring a fork (for my baon) so i had to swing by 7-11 hoping i could buy 1 plastic fork. the 7-11 person was really nice, he gave me one free of charge which made me smile.
on my way to the park, i remembered another good friend. we got lost around makati one time (this was waaaay back) and we passed this particular street too. He was a colleague of mine from the "good 'ol days". i'm not sure why we decided to meet that day, but uh...we couldn't find a decent place to hang. we walked around for a while and ended up at mcdonalds. we were there for hours just talking. we talked about life, our dreams, our hopes. it reminded me how much i miss talking to someone.
kaya pards, if its true that you read my blog, send me an sms so we can schedule another chat. haha!
OK funny story time.
i try to check this site every now and then at the office for no reason at all. i've never had any problems. i can't post anything but of course the site can be viewed. well most sites can be viewed naman, they block the
You have attempted to navigate to a site that is blocked because it is categorized as Sex
wahahahaha!!!! FUCKING idiots! (and yes totoo na yung word na Sex is red and in bold)
i was shocked hahaha! i mean, this blog is not exactly General Patronage material, pero goodness naman! hahahaha!
ok ok in fairness...i tried 2 more blogger sites and they had the same error message. so i sort of concluded that it might have something to do with the word "blogspot". as in "g" and then "spot". but (again), i can't be too sure.
pero either way....ang tanga tanga tanga. plus NAKAKATAWA. at NAKAKAINIS.
as mentioned earlier, my second round of "emo"-ness happened friday afternoon at the same park. this time, i came prepared.
diba nice? |
medyo baliko ang kuha |
my lunch |
dito (right side) ako nakaupo last tuesday, at dito sana ulit kaso naunahan ako ni kuya. hehehe |
having quiet time at the park was a refreshing experience so i'll make it a point to come here once a week.
a lot of people got stranded friday night due to the weather. some streets got flooded (again). i was actually stuck in ayala for 1.5 hours. i couldn't get out of the bus because i didn't have an umbrella. thank God for my mp3 player, avenue q and strong bladder control.
we celebrated daddy's birthday with lunch at (mom's) current favorite restaurant H.K. Choi (sm megamall). before that though, me and my friend had breakfast at starbucks.
coffee, danish and ensaymada. |
as usual...pig out at H.K. Choi. happy birthday daddy!
birthday noodles |
beef with broccoli |
yangchow |
some prawn salad |
afterwards, my friend and i helped out another friend on the set of his latest project. i can't really detail it here because...i actually do not know the details exactly. hehehe.
emo! |
bakit nga ba ang daming "tubero" sa lugar namin? |
may point. |
now as unpaid interns of this project, we got treated to a (very) late lunch at Bon Chon greenbelt. it was nice naman. can't really complain kasi libre hahaha.
totoong crispy-licious ang chicken na ito |
garlic and tofu salad. ang tofu ay lilimang piraso lang talaga. in short, hindi sulit. |
i got home around 7PM. super tired.
its yaya's birthday today so i got her a cake. pero nalandi na before i got a chance to take a picture. so i'll just post her solo pic instead
happy birthday! |
