ok so far i have been having a really bad couple of weeks at work. too many issues and so many crap to deal with. sana lang talaga matapos na ang lahat para maka-move on na ako.
the last week of february was pretty hectic work-wise, but not so eventful happy time-wise. although there were a couple of celebrations worth mentioning like my brother's birthday and his son, liam's birthday.
brother dear as usual ordered pizza for his birthday dinner. i think someone took pictures. i wasn't able to do so because i was too lazy hahaha! anyway, it was really fun because the entire family was present. tamang kwentuhan/ingay lang.
i was able to try out Hawker 101 Food House, a Singaporean inspired resto located in Urban Avenue Makati City. a bunch of my former colleagues and i decided to have lunch here this week. bonding lang baga.
we had the noodles, bacon rice, yang chow rice, hainanese chicken, fried prawns and laksa.
masarap na pancit na hindi ko alam pangalan
fried prawns? this was spicy.
Laksa. SUPER SPICY. di kinaya ni martin haha!
pero enjoy na enjoy sa anghang si gelo a.k.a. bieber
hainanese chicken
ang loob
beef something
i treated myself to expensive breakfast sets this week to make myself feel better about my work situation. one example is seattle's best sausage and mushroom omelette with french toast and marmalade. YUM!
nalandi na version
to celebrate liam's first birthday, my brother and sister-in-law chose to have a jollibee kiddie party mainly due to the dancing jollibee seen on youtube. this part turned out to be a big disappointment. the party itself though was really nice.
I took this pic on our way there
jolly kiddie party! exciting!
happy birthday liam!

ok i will admit, medyo lame yung cake design hehe.
there were games for kids and adults. unfortunately, i had to be part of the adult game which is a relay race of sorts. and i messed up because i wasn't exactly the sharpest pencil in the box. haha! but it was still fun and my team managed to win.
gutom na
malaki yung loob nung jollibee (roosevelt branch raw ito, near greenhills)
ang handa
ok so for dancing jollibee, my cousin was forced to have some kind of showdown with the mascot. buti game sya haha! pero ayun, hindi naman masyado sumayaw si jollibee. sayang ang binayad! hahaha!
oh well.
that night, my friend and i saw i am number four. it was alright. there was this one kick-ass fight scene by teresa palmer. super hot. after nun, average na lang yung movie. in a way disappointing for something produced by spielberg.
and when she said "number six"....waaaaaaay sexy.
sunday, after church, my friend needed help picking out a bday gift for her colleague. so we headed off to shang. bago yun, i took a photo of this traffic circle (which is really not a circle, heck i don't even know if it's a "traffic circle") near my house being "renovated" into a park by the local government.
woo pasikat!
giba na!
magkano kaya ang kickback nila rito? sana lang maganda diba. i don't have old pictures of this triangular-shaped rotunda (they call it a rotunda, i have no idea if that is correct. although i think what they mean to say is rotary? hindi ko alam), but to give a brief description, it used to have a fountain in the middle...shaped like a boob.
the "boob" now reduced to rubble
so sana lang ang park na ito ay tunay na park. haha.
disclaimer: i cannot seem to get myself together. i've been away from home for almost a week and my head is still in safe mode or something. my thoughts are just completely out of whack and it may take a while before i reboot. so please bear with all the unnecessary bullshit, grammatical errors and insane language. a lot of friends have been asking me how things are over here. well...contrary to what people say (and by 'people', i meant my agency), its not as easy as they make it out to be. but i am getting ahead of myself. first things first. before i arrived in auckland, i had to endure a long and bitter flight from manila. since there is no such thing as a direct flight, my itinerary said that i have a 4-hour layover in Singapore. this is fine. my ticket also included meals and 40kg worth of check-in luggage. i carried a backpack and a sling bag for my carry-on with the latter starting to (horribly) disintegrate a...
and so it begins... this will be a very short post. i am quite busy unpacking and figuring out what else i need to do. my thoughts are still blurry. i think i need time to calm down. everything is happening so fast.
Ok, THIS is the most depressing week in NZ. but i will not provide any details. i just want to put it behind me and move on. i can't afford to lose my focus. so sorry guys, but no specific updates this week. hopefully it will get better. prayers are most welcome. thanks to my best friends who have kept me sane all this time. mga bayani kayo, promise. right now i am drowning myself in 90s to early 2000s music. i missed this. i don't mean to be so cryptic. hahaha. but things are looking up. sana magtuloy-tuloy na.
