my last week at work was very hard to endure. my load wasn't getting any lighter. i also started taking home all the trash i accumulated in the past 12 months. my life was chaotic.
best friend picked me up from the office thursday night. we didn't know where to go for dinner so i suggested banchetto at pioneer.

i was really excited for friday videoke night! my former colleagues and i cleverly planned this weeks ago. we had a BLAST. it was AMAAAAAZING. well, there was that short time where i had to enter the room by myself and wait out on the others, but i will let that slide for now hahahaha.
pero grabeh, no joke. we truly had a great time. ibang level talaga ang nagagawa ng mic stand hahaha! (pics grabbed from enteng's facebook)

there was only one thing missing from my system that night: ALCOHOL. becaaaaaause... i had to go through a pre-employment medical check-up the next day. something that i was sort of dreading, but i had to do it.
the clinic was small and cramped but the staff nurse was nice so i went in and completed everything (except the stool sample) with no complaints. well, except maybe for this annoying moment with the optometrist wherein he kind of traps patients into buying glasses. i saw a couple of people looking bewildered after getting out of his office, parang ang itsura eh "ano nangyari? parang may ginawa ako na hindi ko alam na ginawa ko pala.". so my guard was up when it was my turn.
wala naman sya nahita saken so keri lang.
after the check-up, i went to work. yuck. but i had to finish some tasks. i ran into a bit of a problem though. some idiot or whatever from I.T. disabled my user name. meaning, i can't log in my laptop or the office network for that matter. i was soooooooo pissed. there i was, working 12 hours a day and on weekends, then somebody messes up with my shit. it just wasn't right.
anybody in their right mind would simply curse and go home. but for some reason, i tried to find a way to still work without my laptop. i called a guy friend and asked him if i can use his machine. he obliged. so, i was able to run a few tests scripts before calling it a day.
that night, my friend and i saw a one man play entitled, Defending the Caveman. it stars the very delicious Joel Trinidad. it's basically a 1.5 hour explanation of why guys are guys and why they do guy things. i know it sounds boring, the way i said it but it was very entertaining. it was funny, it made sense and did i mention Joel Trinidad is delicious?

late dinner at bubba gump. walang pictures kasi nalimutan ko hahaha! but we ordered a bucketload of seafood. my best friend showed up and ate our leftovers hahaha! we went home early because best friend and i had to attend a wedding the next day.
incidentally, sunday was also mother's day. so after the painstaking task of rummaging around my closet for a dress and putting on make-up, best friend and i did an eat and run lunch with my family at mr. choi.
the wedding was at christ the king church. the bride and groom are both our friends from different places. hilda is best friend's former colleague and joel is a former TOMCAT member. TOMCAT (Tomasian Cable Television) is an inter-collegiate org in college that best friend and i belonged to. i don't know how and when they met but it truly is a small world.

the wedding was beautiful (kahit medyo bumagyo). and super love the reception food. mega tago kami ni best friend nung wedding games na hahahaha! thanks hilda and joel for inviting us!
after the reception, best friend and i had coffee at the shangrila mall.
