after 1 year and 1 month, i bid my company goodbye. it was an interesting experience and honestly, i totally appreciated the opportunity they've given me. there were some real good times. i just felt so out of place in that environment and i wanted something less rigid and more open to change. but i will truly miss the friends i've made and the life we built in our own little world.
my last day was actually on a tuesday. my project manager (great boss, seriously. although feeling ko he hates me now kasi marami akong naiwan na palpak na trabaho) treated us to a nice lunch at momo cafe.

being knee-deep in credit card debt, hindi ko malibre mga friends ko ng goodbye merienda. hahaha! pobre! but they surprised me actually and bought food and drinks that afternoon. they are suuuuper nice! they wished me luck on my future endeavors. thanks guys, sobrang mami-miss ko kayo.
i actually got home very late. i had to finish a lot of things. aside from my usual qa tasks, i had to do my clearance and exit interview and so many small shit. when i finally clocked out at 12midnight, i was exhausted. relieved, yes. but super exhausted.
i still had 2 more weeks before i start at my new job. i am more than grateful for this "
fuckation". as in! yehey for longer sleeping hours.
my best friend's flight back to Saudi is on Sunday afternoon. so for his last week, i stayed at his house in cavite. i was there thursday after lunch. it was a hot/humid day. we wanted it to rain but it never came. hahaha. he promised to take me to hidden tapsihan for dinner. it's a small resto that specializes in...wait for it... TAPA! nagulat ka ba? hahaha!

i still went back to cavite because i was also invited to the birthday celebration of best friend's pamangkin, marcus. it was a happy event. it even involved a scripted surprise greeting hahaha. the cake was made by his mom. feel free to make inquiries about custom cakes at

sunday was a pretty big day. best friend's flight was in the afternoon. but, i couldn't accompany him to the airport because of......PAHIYAS!!! shet, first major major festival ko ito. this was planned months ago kasi i joined a travel group kaya super advance ang booking hehehe.
there were some minor fail moments. like, we were supposed to be there by 9AM pero for some reason eh hindi nangyari yun (i was asleep). di ko alam kung san dumaan yung bus. we took an early lunch at palaisdaan na lang.

it was truly an experience. NAPAKARAMING TAO. as in. but i had a blast. napanood ko pa ang mga parada, lahat by accident hahaha. pero anyway, ang galing nung decorations! everything should be edible so hindi lang limited to kiping. may mga fruits and vegetables. napaka-creative nila! at ang dami kong pics sobra, di ko na malalagay rito. should i flickr instead? hmm... but i will post the highlights.

ang comment ko lang, we didn't have enough time to go around because of we were already late to begin with. plus the package that we paid for actually includes 2 more provinces to visit. pero hindi na namin nagawa. we spent like 3-4 hours lang sa festival and that was it. pero ok na rin. di naman maiiwasan ang mga pangyayari.
so that concludes the first week of my personal "fuckation"! nakakapagod pero worth it naman. best friend, i will miss you! kita-kits sa 2013! yun yun eh!
