week 30: on harry potter and care divas

week 30 was full of surprises.  work was starting to pick up and i found myself rendering a few extra hours just to finish tasks.  it was alright.  i'm kind of used to that anyway.  plus, i like the feeling of being a bit busy.  not too busy, though.  just enough to keep me feeling productive and less incompetent.

i participated in our latest "olympic" event at the office last tuesday.  it was super crazy and fun and my team won!  wooohoo!  i never win anything so this is just amazing  for me.  happiness.

much later that night. i saw the most anticipated blockbuster of the year...the last installment of the Harry Potter franchise.  i was able to watch it in imax.  i loved it.  though there were some weird moments that were not part of the book.  but it was alright.  it was the perfect ending to a beloved series.  they did an amazing job and i am a proud fan.

it's the end of an era!

i did get to see some old faces this week.  ika and i grabbed a few bottles at giligans wednesday night.  renai and rj (who were always fashionably late) decided to have dinner with me at Chili's.  it's nice to see old friends.  it keeps life fresh.

friday, a few current colleagues of mine unwinded at pier 1.  but everyone present were given specific orders to keep their mouths shut about the events that transpired.  so i will keep that promise and just say that the night was surprisingly entertaining.  hehehe.

i used my thermal breast screening voucher saturday afternoon.  it was an interesting experience.  results would come out in 7 working days.  to be honest, i am feeling a bit anxious about it but i think it'll be alright. *crosses fingers*.  for lunch, my friend and i tried a korean restaurant, kogi bulgogi.  the food was pretty tasty (loved the japchae) and the prices were reasonable.

i haven't been bringing my camera for a while.  it has a lot to do with the not in the mood vibe.  but i think i am on my way to a full recovery soon.  hopefully soon enough.

SUNDAY night was special.  i saw my first musical play this year produced by the local theater group, PETA.  it's called CARE DIVAS and it was HILARIOUS.  my friends and i had a grand time.  do check it out, i think it will run again around december.

so um...yeah that was week 30.  writing this post made me realize that it was a full week.  no wonder i have no money left.  haha!
